Jules didn’t get the visa as he had the incorrect type of police certificate. Apparently everything else was fine and they’ll be able to issue the visa once they receive the correct one, but the waiting period for that could take up to 3 weeks and cost something like $150.

I had a feeling something was off this afternoon, even before I heard the news…I suddenly felt sick and got chills so bad I had to go take a nap just to warm up.

I hope this doesn’t screw up any of the plans we’ve begun making for the wedding. Something always goes wrong during the 11th hour, doesn’t it?

I think I’ll go curl up in a ball and stay there until I hear some good news.
