The Hidden Cameras played a very entertaining live show at the Triple Door on Saturday. Having been there a few times now, I’ve been able to observe enough to know how to get a good seat, so I was right up in front. They were so lively and energetic, and I was impressed that the musicians actually made eye contact with the audience! More amazingly, later on as I talked with Joel, the lead singer, I discovered they hadn’t realized they were going to play a live concert. They assumed it was just going to be live on the radio, so when they saw a crowd of people they were a bit surprised. Still, they adapted to the shock well and put on a good show. It was fun to watch the performers interacting with each other and making silly faces across the stage.
