I’m Hearing: gentle hum of fans in a dark and warm bedroom

A birthday gift for a friend of mine,
whose age of birth has reached a splendid prime
her creative arts is envy to some
her heart is bright that challenges the sun
her warmth of friendship is second to none,
she makes my heart as soft as a bun.
this friend say hello whenever i’m online
that makes my virtual experience so fine
i wish i had a personal DSL line
to see her again and again through time
my only wish that she would receive
this poem of thoughts that i am trying to conceive
please accept it as a gift from me
for we are too far for our eyes to see
